Justin and Dani – engaged!
Meet Justin and Dani…they originally met in high school, were good friends for years and finally realized that they were completely meant for each other! We began their engagement session at Minnehaha falls park and then headed over to St. Anthony Main for a few final pictures. Enjoy!
Thanks Dani and Justin, we enjoyed your company and the relaxed pace in which you enjoy life. We look forward to celebrating your marriage with you in December!
Steve and Sarah – engaged!
Meet Steve and Sarah. Steve went to St. John’s and Sarah went to St. Ben’s. But they met while studying abroad in Italy and Greece…how romantic! For their engagement session we went out to St. John’s and roamed the campus. We were so glad to have a nice, warm, dry evening for pictures! This was the third time we had tried to schedule an engagement session with Sarah and Steve, but had been rained and winded out two previous dates. Enjoy the glimpse into their session!
I love the honey comb structure on the outside of the chapel.
For some reason this little area reminds me of something right out of a fairy tail story…love it!
We had to grab a picture with their Alma mater sweatshirts…I think this could be the next billboard…

Seth and Jessica – engaged!
We are finally getting around to posting pictures from engagement sessions that took place nearly two weeks ago! Our schedules have been packed with one thing after another…all good stuff, but busy none the less:) Here are a few pictures from Seth and Jessica’s engagement session. On the surface Jessica and Seth are a little quite and reserved, but spend enough time with them and their passion for life and each other begins to emerge! We began the session at Minnehaha Park.
Seth and Jessica took us to Sebastian Joe’s Ice Cream Cafe. Talk about options for ice cream flavors…wow! We had a little fun with ice cream pictures before heading over the the sculpture gardens to wrap up the evening.
Thanks for a lovely evening Seth and Jessica! We look forward to your wedding in October!
John and Kira – married!
John and Kira…wow, where do we even start; there’s just too much awesomeness wrapped up in these two! They are a beautiful and fun couple who both had amazing families! We really enjoyed hanging out with Kira and John in December for their engagement pictures and were super excited to be there for their big day.
They had a beautiful wedding, with guests coming from all over the world. It was so great to be able to see the strong support for John and Kira from their families in the states and abroad. We began the day at the hotel while Kira and the K-team were getting ready.
Alan headed over to John’s parents’ house to meet the guys and they got ready.
Look at these two! They look like we plucked them off Hollywood’s red carpet and transported them to MN. The way John and Kira’s faces light up when they are around each other is beautiful music to my soul!
Kira and John had a fabulous group of friends by their side.
The ceremony was held in the Sunken Gardens at the Conservatory. The beautiful blend of flowers made a perfect setting for their marriage vows.
The reception was held upstairs from the conservatory in the Rainforest Auditorium. Prior to heading into the reception area, a champagne reception/social hour was held just outside the reception hall. This was a part of the evening Kira had been waiting for, not just all day, but for months…the sloth! I personally have never been so fascinated by watching an animal do almost nothing…but then I am a biology nerd at heart!
The reception was beautiful!
We heard three of the most amazingly written and well delivered speeches ever.

John and Kira, we are so glad we got to be a part of your day…it was such an honor! We wish you and your families safe travels as you return to your corners of the earth. May your marriage continue to be a blessing to you and all those around you.
