The Texas cousins came up to visit for their spring break as they often do, so of course we took the opportunity to have a get together so that we could run around, eat great food and have fun! Alan and I set up a photo booth style corner, brought along and few things including hats, sunglasses and of course…nerf guns! It was terrific!
Happy birthday to my wonderful husband…friend, lover, business partner, strength and soul mate. May the next year bring you wonders in life that are more desirable than chocolate cake!
Hoar frost: a deposit of ice crystals upon objects that have been chilled below freezing point by radiation cooling. We have had a lot of this thick, amazing and beautiful frost this winter and we finally made it outside to capture a few pictures of it! Enjoy!
I think this is one of those posts you are supposed to do around Thanksgiving…but who says you have to limit your thankfulness to a particular season! Looking back over the last year, Alan and I have a ton to be thankful for.
We have been blessed with amazing friends and family who have been so supportive through our years of working way too much and spending way too little time with them.Thank you, we love each and every one of you!
We have been blessed by the wonderful people we have met through our photography. We have had the opportunity to get to know so many people and hear so many stories. I love stories, I love being able to catch a glimpse into other people’s stories and help them tell their own stories through the pictures we take. Our clients have inspired me again and again through their stories, their lives and kindness!
Our business has been growing like crazy and we are so thankful to those of you who have been instrumental in that growth. Whether you have done work for us, been a teacher for us, or have been a sounding board as we work though ideas…we are thankful to you for the role you have played. Many of you know that I have been full time with our photography biz for a year and a half. Beginning in April, Alan will officially move into a full time role with our photography as well! Not only will he photograph everything with me, he will get to help with all the other organization and running of this business of ours.
We are still in shock and awe that we have already met our goal of booking 30 weddings for the 2010 calendar year. We still have a few dates late fall and early winter that are open for booking, but we are now jumping in to booking for 2011!
Thank you, thank you, thank you! We are so excited to see what lays ahead on this path of life.
This weekend we are in Walker, MN to photograph Jackie and Colter’s wedding. We arrived this afternoon at about 4pm or so and had some time to venture around town to gather ideas for tomorrow’s big day! We will be back to the cities Sunday evening.
