Meet Natalie…she is one amazing little lady with a life schedule all her own! Last August we had plans with Lindsay (Natalie’s mom) to do a maternity session since Lindsay’s c-section wasn’t for another month. Natalie had plans of her own…a couple of days before we were scheduled for the maternity session Natalie decided to join the world! When Natalie turned 6 months Lindsay and I again began talking about pictures for Natalie. Once again, Natalie was on a schedule of her own. This time she had to go in for a little emergency surgery. Now that Natalie is 7 months, we finally got to see this vibrant little girl with her blue eyes and strawberry blond hair!

We ended interrupting Natalie’s schedule a bit. It was about time for her to nap when we began the session so Lindsay thought it might be good to do a little eating for some energy. Mmmm, cereal!

Like I said, Natalie is on her own terms…she will either drink form a bottle or a big-girl glass, but forget a sippy-cup.

After a little food and water Natalie was showing off her personality for us a bit!

We tried to do a few family pictures outside, but I think we had pushed Natalie too far past her nap time…she could barely keep her little eyes open:)

A few weeks ago we had the great honor of photographing for Dr. Erin Anderson and her chiropractic office, Lifelong Health Chiropractic! Dr. Erin is a remarkable woman…she is unbelievably joyful, compassionate, and knowledgeable! One of her passions is chiropractics during pregnancy to help the body adjust to the dramatic change that takes place in a woman’s body to give a more comfortable pregnancy as well as shorter deliveries. Dr. Erin asked us to take pictures at her office during an adjustment of one of her pregnant clients. You may recognize Erin’s client, Elisa from a few post back when we took maternity/family pictures of her and her family! I loved watching Dr. Erin interact with both Elisa and her son…she is so gentle with everyone she comes in contact with!

The Texas cousins came up to visit for their spring break as they often do, so of course we took the opportunity to have a get together so that we could run around, eat great food and have fun! Alan and I set up a photo booth style corner, brought along and few things including hats, sunglasses and of course…nerf guns! It was terrific!

We have some blog catching up to do! With our stint of early spring we have jumped on the chance to take some pictures without freezing! A couple of days ago we did a family/belly session with this amazing family. Elisa is so beautiful and radiant in the fullness of her pregnancy! We met up with the Berry family at one of their favorite parks for walking, enjoying each other and enjoying creation. I was so impressed with Elisa’s level of energy…we spent nearly an hour and a half walking around and taking pictures and I don’t even think she was tired when we finish!

Meet Laurie and Jon…they are a dynamic couple who, like us, have decided to enter into business together! Jon is a writer, Laurie is a business coach and graphic designer. Alan and I joined Jon and Laurie at their home for a business portrait session. They weren’t looking for a simple single headshot, which was awesome and make our job way more enjoyable! Here’s a little peek at the fun we had…

And this is Kerfuffle…

It snowed the night before so their tree with the little red berries was perfectly pleasing to the eye. We snagged a few pictures out side with the winter colors for their holiday card.
