Nate and Kelly were married on Saturday in the town of Little Falls, MN. It was a beautiful day, a beautiful couple and beautiful wedding. It was so inspiring to see all the family and friends who gathered around these two as they joined their lives together. Here’s a small glimpse into their story:

The wind coming of the river was a little intense at times, but I loved what it did with Kelly’s veil.

The ring bearer got to wear the coolest shoes! Even I was a little jealous.

Watching children take their job so seriously as they walk down the aisle, still makes me smile!

Kelly’s sister (also the matron of honor) gave the message for the ceremony.

The families gathered on stage to pray for the new couple. Meanwhile, the flower girl was busy arranging the flowers.

This is Nate’s little brother. He was quite fascinated with #1 the flash on the camera when a picture was taken, and #2 the fact that he could see a picture of himself after the bright light flashed. I think we could have done this all afternoon if I had let him!

Nate and Kelly, it was so fun to be a part of your wedding day! May your marriage bring you and all those around you many blessings in the years to come!

This blog post got a little on the long side, but I couldn’t help it…I love people’s stories and I love sharing their stories with others. So here is a glimpse into the wedding day story of Erica and Jerry.

I met Erica at Hair in the City salon where we began the day of picture taking.

After the hair we went back to The Hotel Minneapolis for the rest of the getting ready festivities.

Wow! Look at this amazingly gorgeous couple! Not only do they look amazing, they are two of the most fun and kind people I have met.

I loved hanging out with the entire wedding party. Erica and Jerry have a group of friends who know how to have fun!

The ceremony was so beautiful. Erica’s dad performed the ceremony and gave a beautiful message about love that I wish every couple getting married could have heard. Erica’s dad was assisted during the ceremony by a longtime family friend who also happens to be the pastor who performed the ceremony for me and Alan. The whole ceremony triggered a flood of memories for me and made me so excited for the journey that Erica and Jerry were starting on.

There was much celebrating on the limo bus on the way to the reception!

The reception was held at the St. Anthony Main Event Center. It was decked out beautifully and every detail spoke to style of Erica and Jerry! For their guest book they had a Polaroid camera for the guests to use and then write a note under their picture! I didn’t even know that you could still get a Polaroid camera and film…it was awesome!

I was so impressed with their first dance. I don’t know if they have been dancing together for a long time, or if it was something they decided to learn for the wedding, but they looked professional!

Erica and Jerry, it was an absolute honor to be a part of your day! We wish you many blessings in your years to come as husband and wife!

Saturday we photographed Tia and Matt’s wedding. The wedding was supposed to take place in Longfellow Gardens, but alas, it was raining. Fortunately, we were able to move in to Longfellow House just below the Gardens, and all was well. The rain was on and off all afternoon, but we did venture outside for some pictures of the bride and groom. I think it was well worth the wet!

This was the best thing ever…to get the bride in the car with her big dress, they just opted for taking out the back seat! Plenty or room for the flowing dress!
