I am so glad to open up my web browser and see it connect to my blog!!! I know, it really shouldn’t be that striking of an event, but you have no idea…technology has been hating me. I have had these pictures ready to blog for a couple of days now but something has been keeping me from my blog. Every other website I have tried to access works, but not my blog. With some phone calls and some trouble shooting, it seems that it is a problem with my router…so apparently it’s my router that hates me, and my blog.
I’m pretty sure I just risked my life to blog today. It has been snowing all day, no big deal right, I live in Minnesota we know what it’s like to deal with snow. Turns out the snow plows haven’t been out on the local roads, they’re a little slippery and full of snow. To get my blogging fix in, I ventured out to my local Dunn Bros Coffee Shop, they are only about a mile down the road so I figured it wouldn’t be a big deal to drive the distance. On my way I saw at least one person in the ditch and my little Scion xA skated down each road and every turn. We’ll see how going home fairs…
Anyway, you’re probably not reading this post just to hear about my blogging saga, so let’s get on with the pictures! However, there does seem to be a beautiful poetry to the fact that the day I am blogging this particular wedding there is lots of snow and crazy winter conditions…
What an amazing couple. I don’t think I have ever met a two people who are so sweet, kind and easy going. Their love for each other and for everyone else around them was an integral part of who they were.

5min before the ceremony was to begin, Kristy was busy putting the finishing touches on the favors outside the reception room. Oh, and she hadn’t put on her dress yet…yikes!

We rushed Kristy off to the conservatory rest room to do a quick change and it was off to the ceremony from there.

Right after the ceremony, everyone wanted to see the rings. They were designed by the couple and hand crafted just for them. Inside the rings is etched a puzzle when you put the rings together…too cool.

The conservatory is beautiful for Christmas! They always do beautiful work with the flowers, but I especially love the poinsettias.

Kristy’s 3 sisters stood up for her at the altar. Aren’t they a beautiful group!?! Kristy’s wedding was the 3rd wedding in the family in 2008…wow, talk about excitement.

I love these two images together. This is the contrast of the day. Inside the conservatory it was hot and sticky, just like you would expect a green house to be. Outside…well wen I woke up it was -12F and a windchill of -35F or so. But that didn’t stop David and Kristy from wanting pictures outside…it was awesome! Apparently it’s a family tradition to get married when it is ridiculously cold outside. I guess David and Kristy picked a day that was a little more mild compared to David’s parents.

The reception was held just upstairs from the ceremony. They served a beautiful champagne brunch.

Remember the rings with the puzzle inside? Well here they are… when Kristy’s ring is on top the initials are KD, but if David’s ring is on top the initials are DK, how cool is that!?!?!?
